Niklas Krause has been a consultant with the lexICT group since January 2025 and a research assistant at Leibniz University Hannover since 2023.

He publishes regularly on legal questions where software, games and connected devices meet civil law, among them the inheritability of game accounts, the copyright treatment of cheat software, and the use of IoT data under the Data Act to train AI models.
